GRASS-FED LAMB
All of our sheep are rotationally grazed, grass fed and finished. We do offer lambs creep feed at a young age when the pastures aren't ready in early spring, that feed is 100% organic and non-GMO. Grass-Fed and Finished Lamb contains more CLA than all other meat on the planet, containing between 4 to 19 mg of CLA per gram of fat. Lamb, compared to other meats also contains very high levels of anti-inflammatory Oleic acid as well as Glutathione (the King of Antioxidants), and Creatine. A 3 oz. serving of American Lamb contains 40% heart-healthy fat. This monounsaturated fat is the same “good fat” found in olive oil and avocados! (see more below)

Organic Grass-Fed Lamb is the closest Omega 6 to Omega 3 Ratio of any land-based animal on the planet and is the closest ratio to that of wild Salmon. Grass-fed lamb meat is also an excellent source of vitamin B-12, niacin, zinc, and a good source of iron. While other red meats offer those nutrients as well, grass-fed lamb meat stands out with a comparatively high nutritional benefit. Grass-fed lamb meat has one of the highest levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and omega-3 fatty acids, both heart-healthy fatty acids with anti-cancer, anti-diabetes, and anti-fat properties.
